Seattle Juneteenth: A Decade of Impact Celebrated Downtown
Freedom, Culture & an HBCU Homecoming-Style Vibe
This summer, the heart of Seattle turns into The Yard—an open-air campus green where music bumps, entrepreneurs thrive and families gather to honor Black economic freedom. PACE & The Union are throwing a Juneteenth festival that blends the electric energy of an HBCU homecoming with an urban block party, all in the plaza outside The Union on Second Ave.
General admission to Thursday’s Block Party is free; Reserve yours at SeattleJuneteenth.com.
A Double Anniversary Year
Juneteenth 2025 is extra special—PACE celebrates ten years of building Black capacity, while The Union marks seven years as downtown’s creative nerve-center. Expect sneak peeks of The Union’s upcoming Artist & Maker Lab and a capital campaign that connects Seattle to the African diaspora.
How to Get Involved
